The Schlage Century Touchscreen Deadbolt is an electronic device that can be locked or unlocked using a key, an integrated physical keypad, or remotely using a smartphone when connected to your SmartThings Hub.

The lock communicates with your SmartThings Hub over a securely encrypted wireless network, enabling you to monitor and control its status and trigger different scenarios and actions when you come and go.

The touchscreen lock features a contemporary design style and consists of two halves: an interior unit containing the electronic components, and a weatherproof exterior component incorporating the illuminated touchpad and lock tumbler.

Installing the lock is simple: There is no hard wiring required, it fits most one-hole residential door locks, and it only requires a screwdriver. The lock also automatically detects the direction of how the bolt needs to be oriented during installation. The durable touchscreen has a matte finish which protects against fingerprints and smudges.
